What is Dynamic CVV?

You’re probably familiar with the regular CVV (Card Verification Value), those 3-digit numbers on the back of your card required for online orders. But with Dynamic CVV, we’re adding an extra layer of protection to safeguard your hard-earned cash from online fraudsters.
Now, each time you make an online purchase, you can generate a brand-new CVV code right from the An Post Money App. It even applies to recurring payments, like subscriptions.

How to activate dynamic CVV

  1. Open up the An Post Money app.
  2. Go to the current account tab.
  3. Click ‘Manage Cards’
  4. Activate Dynamic CVV.

Using dynamic CVV for purchases

  1. Open up the An Post Money app.
  2. On the current account balance bar, click the ‘Show CVV’ button to reveal the Dynamic CVV.
