Primary School Writing Competition
Primary School Writing Competition
At An Post, we are proud to promote literacy through fun reading and writing competitions. This year, our competition focuses on a subject important to us all – nurturing communities!
At An Post, we recognise that each of us holds the potential to nurture positive change and growth for our communities and beyond.
We’re asking pupils to write a letter telling us how they will contribute to the growth, wellbeing, and sustainability of our beloved Ireland and sow the seeds for a future we can actively shape and be proud of!
Whether it’s fostering inclusivity for the elderly and vulnerable within our community, championing the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle, setting up community gardens and libraries or starting clubs for sports or hobbies, we want to hear your ideas.
These resources can be adapted to suit pupils of all levels and age groups, from Junior Infants up to 6th class.
