Development Pathways

We have introduced Learning Pathways , which provide guidance for all employees on formal learning opportunities relevant for their role. Opportunities range from  IT Skills courses to Manual Handling training  to Project Management and everything in between!

Bród at An Post

We are striving every day to ensure that all our employees feel accepted and can bring their true selves to work. Our dedicated LGBTQ+ employee resource group, Bród, pays an essential role in elevating the LGBTQ+ employee voice at An Post. Bród aims to create an open and safe space for LGBTQ+ employees and allies to meet. Our aim is to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and equal and fair treatment of LGBTQ+ employees.

Change Happens at An Post

An Post has maintained a zero gender pay gap for the second year in a row. This makes us the first major company in Ireland to report a zero gap for two consecutive years.

Supporting Our Colleagues Who Have Disabilities

In 2022 we focused on delivering Disability Awareness training across the company with our partners, Ability Focus, and Inclusive Recruitment training was additionally completed by all our HR hiring teams. An Post has signed Business in the Community’s Elevate Inclusive Workplace Pledge and as always, we celebrate International Day for People with Disabilities in December. We look forward to releasing our refreshed Disability & Equality Policies in 2023, further promoting An Post as a fully accessible and inclusive workplace for everyone.

Nominations

Anyone can nominate a colleague and share their Values in Practice (VIP) story. These stories are reviewed quarterly by the Management Board who select the strongest example of our values being practiced. 24 Values in Practice award winners (VIPs) are celebrated at our yearly An Post Employee Award, Values in Practice event.
