What is a Digital Stamp?

It's a stamp you can buy in the An Post app and write on your mail item. Each digital stamp has twelve different numbers or letters on it to make it unique.

Where can I buy digital stamps?

You can only buy digital stamps in the An Post app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store .

How does delivery notification work?

We'll automatically email you after your mail item is delivered. You can also choose to get a push notification from the An Post app or an SMS text to your mobile phone.

How do I know what size and weight I can post?

Please see our sending guide for postcards, letters and large envelopes.

Can I add other types of stamps too?

No, you must use either a digital stamp or normal postage. You cannot use both on one mail item.
