At An Post we recognise that our operations impact every county, community, household and business in Ireland. We are one of the largest employers, maintain one of the largest fleets in Ireland and have the largest retail network in the country. We therefore are committed to having a positive environmental and social impact, equality for all and creating everyday opportunities for consumers to live a more sustainable life.

2022 achievements

Over the last number of years An Post have been working to build a more sustainable business, we are even bringing our target forward and committing to get to net zero carbon emissions from our own operations by 2030.

The journey to sustainability

Over the last number of years, An Post has been working to build a more sustainable business, from operating the largest electric fleet and becoming the first postal service in the world to attain zero emission delivery status in all major cities to eliminating the Gender Pay Gap again in 2022.
