In these terms and conditions:
“Promotion” means the An Post Making Better Happen for An Post Branch Managers Promotion
“An Post” means a registered company in Ireland under number 98788 with a registered address at General Post Office, O’Connell Street Lower, Dublin 1.
“Promoter” means An Post.
“Eligible Entrant” means a Branch Manager at An Post Post Offices.
“Making Better Happen Champion” means the person nominated by an Eligible Entrant to be entered into the Promotion.
“Submission” means the description, in 200 words or less, of why the person nominated by an Eligible Entrant should win the Prize.
“Prize” means a One4All Gift Card for the winning Making Better Happen Champion to the value of €1,000 and a One4All Gift Card to the value of €500 for the Eligible Entrant who made the Submission in respect of the winning Making Better Happen Champion .
Promotion Details
The Promotion will run from 1 of May 2025 to 31 of May 2025.
Eligible Entrants must be a Branch Manager at An Post Post Offices. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of identity.
This Promotion consists of the Promoter giving away a Prize of a €1,000 One4All Gift Card to one Making Better Happen Champions and a €500 One4All Gift Card to one Eligible Entrant who nominated the winning Making Better Happen Champion. The Prize winner will be chosen by 13 June 2025 and notified by the 27 June 2025.
To enter this Promotion Eligible Entrants must share a story of a local person (the Submission) who has made a difference in their community and that they believe makes that local person a Making Better Happen Champion. Each Eligible Entrant must get permission from the nominated local person before they submit the entry.
To enter a Submission Eligible Entrants must e-mail their story to Retailcompetitions@anpost.ie before 31 May 2025. When entering the Submission the Eligible Entrant must only use the nominated person’s first name and not share any personal details. The entry must include the name and location of their post office and the name of the Eligible Entrant. Only one Submission per Eligible Entrant is permitted.
A panel of judges will adjudicate on each Submission on between 3 June 2025 and 13 June 2025. The panel intend to select the Submission from all valid entries received that, in the opinion of the judges, is the best and most deserving Submission. This Submission will be deemed to be the winning Submission and this Making Better Happen Champion and Eligible Entrant will be the Prize winners. The Eligible Entrant will be notified by phone, e-mail and letter by the Promoter within 7 days of the adjudication taking place. The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to contact the winning Eligible Entrant on the contact details on file. In order to win the Prize, the Eligible Entrant must acknowledge notification of the Prize win from the Promoter. Once the winning Eligible Entrant acknowledges the Prize win, they will be asked to share the contact details of the winning Making Better Happen Champion.
If the first selected Eligible Entrant is unavailable or fails to acknowledge the Prize win, the Promoter may select another Submission to be adjudicated upon by the judges.
The Promoter’s decision in relation to the adjudication of the Submissions is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding this selection.
The Prize is personal to the Prize winners and the sale or offering for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange of any tickets and/or part of any of the Prize is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online ticket resale marketplace). The Promoter reserves the right to cancel tickets and withdraw or make void any and all Prize elements if this term is not complied with.

The Promoter may with valid reason select another Prize winner or dispose of the Prize with valid reason
There is no cash alternative for the Prize or refund for unused portions of the Prize.
The winning Eligible Entrant and Making Better Happen Champion may be required to take part in promotional activities, and the Promoter reserves the right to publish the entry, name, photograph and value of Prize paid to the Prize winners. No remuneration will be associated with this activity.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Eligible Entrant or to amend these terms and conditions with valid reason. If there are any changes to these terms and conditions, Eligible Entrants will be notified.
Details provided by Eligible Entrants as part of this Promotion will be retained by the Promoter for the purpose of administering this Promotion. This information will not be used or retained for any other purpose unless otherwise requested by you.

Evidence of loss or damage will be required.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any applicant with valid reason. In the event of circumstances beyond its control, to cancel the Promotion at any stage.
Neither the Promoter or its affiliates are responsible for printing or typographical errors in any materials relating to the Promotion.
Governing Law - This agreement is governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. These terms and conditions do not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
