Centenary of the sinking of the RMS Lusitania - miniature stamp sheet

This miniature sheet features the two stamps issued to mark the centenary of the sinking of the passenger liner, Lusitania, off the coast of Cork in May, 1915.

The stamps feature specially-commissioned paintings by Irish-based artist Vincent Killowry. The 68 cent* stamp shows the ship at sail while the €1-stamp captures the dramatic scene as it lists badly before sinking.
