History on a Stamp Book

Featured within this book are 26 stamp issues related to the Decade of Centenaries, totaling 54 stamps. These begin with the commemoration of the 1913 General Lockout and end with the Death of Erskine Childers
in 2022.

This book is presented in six short sections with selected themes: War, Revolution, Struggle, Sacrifice, Agreement, and State. Given the overall size of the stamp programme, particular examples have
been selected that exemplify An Post’s approach to the Decade, and the variety of creative designs that have formed our commemorative response.
