Model Van Morris LD150

This is a Matchbox version of the Morris LD150 van that was used by the Department of Posts and Telegraphs until the mid-1960s. Powered by a 2199cc petrol engine, each van had a metal panelled body of 240 cubic feet and a wooden floor.
 
They were mainly used for transporting mail to the airport and railway stations, with the wide opening rear doors and sliding side doors facilitating access and loading. This iconic van truly deserves its place in any model vehicle collection.
