The Consignment Arrival Declaration form can be completed at www.anpost.com/Consignment-Arrival-Declaration from any mobile device. To complete the Consignment Arrival Declaration you will need to:
Register using your mobile number
Complete transport information including scheduled time of arrival and your IMO number or flight number
Enter your consignment ID number(s)
Enter driver information, including name, vehicle registration number and Pre-Boarding Notification number (for ferry)
The Electronic Trailer File is sent to An Post once a trailer has been loaded for departure to Ireland. The file allows us to identify to Irish Customs the contents of each trailer that will arrive in Ireland. The Electronic Trailer File must specify the following:
Barcode for each parcel in the trailer
Consignment ID number
Trailer departure time (optional)
The Shipping Manifest Summary is a physical document that will accompany the driver who is delivering the parcels to An Post. It is a summary of the number of packages that are in the trailer.
This Shipping Manifest document can be filled in manually (handwritten) by the carrier or driver if all details are not known when the trailer leaves distribution centre.
A hard copy, detailing by barcode each parcel associated with the Shipping Manifest Summary (CN37) document, is also required and must accompany the driver in case the driver is stopped by Irish Customs en route to An Post.

After creating a pre-boarding notification (PBN) with Irish Revenue, it will issue you with a PBN ID number.

The Consignment Arrival Declaration should be submitted when on the ferry. It is essential to complete this form before you arrive at the DMC campus. Failure to do so will result in delays.
