Already, more than 50,000 customers nationally have signed on for An Post’s mybills.ie service which enables them to pay more than 100 household bills online easily and at no extra cost, including Electric Ireland, Bord Gáis and Eircom.

mybills.ie is a unique, free service that allows customers to take control and manage their household bills online. Payments are simple and flexible with the facility to pay more than one bill at a time and the customer chooses exactly how much to pay off a bill at a time that’s convenient to them.

To assist in household budgeting there is a facility to automatically set dedicated amounts off regular bills each month and the user selects the date so there are no nasty surprises.  Customers also can track their outgoings and manage the household budget by viewing reports and graphs of their bill payment history, confidentially and free-of-charge.

An Post currently processes almost 25 million bill payment transactions through its network of 1,150 post offices and online. mybills.ie now extends the range of options for customers in actively managing and controlling their finances.

‘’mybills.ie is a really useful service for householders, enabling them to take control of their bills in a simple, practical way, says An Post’s Eastern Region Manager (Retail), Enda Kelly. ‘’Pay as much as you want, when you want and all in one place’’.

‘’Post office customers trust An Post to pay their bills over the post office counter and online. We developed mybills.ie in response to a growing demand for greater control in online payment. By simply logging onto www.mybills.ie, customers can get up and running straight away.  It’s simple, free and totally secure’’.
