An Post delivers in Corofin

Corofin Post Office closed suddenly on July 4th last.  At the time An Post undertook to restore services there as quickly as possible. On Monday next, the new Corofin Post Office will open its doors at a new premises located at the former The Corofin Arms on Main Street. The postmistress is Ms Emer Burke, a member of the well known local business family.

The new Post Office will offer a full range of services including: all letter and parcel mail services, BillPay, State Savings, postfone, One4All gift vouchers, AIB banking services, social welfare benefit payments, One Direct Insurance, Passport Express,  Mobile Phone Top Up, Western Union and TV/ Dog Licences and stamps.

An Post Retail Regional Manager Aidan O’Donnell said ‘We have always been committed to continuing a full service to the people of Corofin. We are delighted to be in a position to open our new office and delighted to have the Burke family on board in the new business.
