An Post in step with Contemporary Dance Stamps

Dancers from the four featured Irish contemporary dance companies - Dance Theatre of Ireland; Coiscéim Dance Theatre, Fabulous Beast and Irish Modern Dance Theatre unveiled the diamond-shaped 55c stamps by top Irish designer, Ms Ger Garland.  The self-adhesive stamps are available in sets of four and as part of an eight-stamp booklet (€4.40) at main post offices, the GPO and online at www.irishstamps.ie

Artists from 17 countries will participate in the Dublin Dance Festival 2012 with events taking place from May 11th – 26th in venues across Dublin. The festival will offer audiences a wealth of experiences from the diverse, creative, sensuous and adventurous worlds of contemporary dance. Festival events will appeal to audiences of all ages and tastes in venues from the Abbey Theatre to the streets of Dublin including the Irish premiere of the pioneering Trisha Brown Dance Company.
