Christmas Posting Dates - Stamps Now On Sale!

Booklet stamps cover postage within Ireland of Christmas cards weighing up to 100g. They may also be used on Priority (Airmail) mail to Britain and the Rest of the World by affixing the necessary additional postage. It is important to put a blue Priority (Airmail) sticker – available at all Post Offices - on all Priority items.

Three traditional Christmas stamps in denominations of 48c (postage up to 100g within the island of Ireland); 60c (airmail postage up to 50g to Britain) and 65c (airmail postage up to 50g to the Rest of the World) are also available. All four stamps feature vibrant paintings of the Nativity by Irish artist Finbarr O’Connor.

Posting deadlines to ensure delivery in time for Christmas 2004 include:

Africa: December 3
Asia: December 3 – 7
USA/Canada: December 7
Europe: December 19
Britain
& Northern Ireland: December 19
National: December 20

Swiftpost Exprés: December 18
Swiftpost National: December 22
