Householders now have choice of fuel payment options

13 August 2003

EMO customers may pay their bill at no extra charge through their local Post Office or at any retail outlet where they see the PostPoint sign. Customers who prefer an online option can pay through BillPay.ie, the secure, award-winning internet bill payment facility, operated by PostTS – An Post Transaction Services.

Emo Oil’s Susanne McCabe says they delighted to be the only Irish Oil company making these convenient payment options available to customers.

“We believe in value for money and particularly like the fact that there will be no transaction charge for customers paying bills at the Post Office, in retail outlets or on the Internet”, she added.

Ms Mc Cabe also reminded customers that they needn’t wait for the Autumn chill to set in before ordering a refill of central heating oil.

“Central heating is the last thing on people’s minds on these warm Summer days but customers can beat the inevitable Autumn rush by ordering a fill-up now.”

Eddie Manning, Marketing Manager Post TS explained that the addition of EMO oil means that customers can now pay for all their home heating options - oil, gas and electricity - through the Post Office.

“Post Offices alone handle more than half a million bill payments every week with the ‘no-fee’ factor striking a particularly strong chord with customers, alongside the features of general convenience and friendly, efficient service.”
