National Post Office Awards announced

Presenting the awards Managing Director of PostTS – An Post Transaction Services, Eamonn Ryan congratulated Salthill Postmistress Esther Daly and Tralee Branch Manager, Michael Cronin on achieving outstanding levels of customer service and efficiency in well-maintained, customer-friendly Post Offices.

“Expanding BillPay business and the addition of banking services for AIB customers made for a particularly busy year and the Post Office staff in Salthill and Tralee have given their customers consistently excellent service” he said.

A team of ‘Mystery Shoppers’ paid undercover visits to ten shortlisted Post Offices in order to identify the friendliest, most efficient and best run operations.

The following Post Offices received regional awards : Market Street PO, Ennis; Kilbarrack PO, Dublin 5; Yellowbatter Park PO, Drogheda; Ballaghaderreen PO, Co Roscommon; Ferbane PO, Co Offaly; Carrigaline PO, Co Cork and the Branch Post Offices in Portlaoise and Athlone.
