New Postage Stamp Marks Padre Pio Canonisation

Designed by FOR Design, Dublin, the stamp showing a familiar portrait of Padre Pio is complimented by a First Day Cover envelope (50c) bearing the crest of the Capuchin order.

500,000 stamps have been printed and An Post expects strong demand for the new issue from devotees of Padre Pio in Ireland and abroad.
