One Direct becomes Post Insurance

One Direct, a leading insurance provider with more than 165,000 customers and 26 retail outlets nationwide, has re-branded as Post Insurance (www.postinsurance.ie). Post Insurance is a wholly owned subsidiary of An Post.
The move follows a period of growth over the past number of years that’s seen the company’s business double in size Effective immediately, the new name will appear on all former One Direct services and operations. All customers have been written to informing them of the change and advising them of plans for the newly named insurance provider. Existing policies and claims are not affected by the changeover.
In addition to its primary portfolio of Motor, Home and Life insurance policies, the Athlone based financial services operator recently launched its new Car Finance products.
Commenting on these developments, Post Insurance Managing Director David Egan said: “The insurance industry is a very dynamic marketplace. With fast growing annual revenue and employing 150 staff throughout all operations, our business has transformed considerably as an increasing number of new and existing customers sign up for our straightforward, value focused financial services. The re-branding to Post insurance and the announcement of new products signals our intention to take the business to the next phase of its growth and development.”
Meantime, a nationwide marketing and advertising campaign developed by Target McConnells and themed around the idea of “The Joy of Predictability” will appear across Direct Mail, TV, Digital, Radio in the next few weeks making Post Insurance one of the most visible brands in the New Year period.
