Send a love letter for €1 this Valentine’s Day

To mark St. Valentine’s Day and the importance of connection with loved ones, for a limited time only (11th-15th February) An Post are running a special offer of a €1 Digital Stamp, which can be used for letters and cards anywhere in Ireland. 

Enabling customers to Send Love in a modern way, the digital stamp can be purchased on the An Post app. The digital stamp is a 9 digit code, placed at the top right hand corner of a letter or card, where a traditional stamp would normally go. It can be stored in customer’s wallets for future use – though what better time to use it than in the run up to the day of Love. Whether it’s a card for Mam or a message to that special someone, the €1 offer (normally priced at €2) encourages people to send their loved ones a personal message to say they are thinking of them.

And that’s not all An Post are doing to celebrate the season of Love. Partnering up with Your Friend My Friend – a group who specialise in organising singles events - the Send Love Run takes place on Saturday February 15th. With the rise in popularity of Run Clubs as a way to meet new people offline, the Send Love Run is for runners of all abilities to establish real life connections in an increasingly online world. 

The 5km heart shaped route will take place around Dublin’s City Centre and participants will be armed with postcards and digital stamps, dropping messages of Love into postboxes along the route.
