Senior Management Changes at An Post

Mr Larry Donald is to become Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for ensuring the continuing performance of the core postal business.

The new Director of Collection & Delivery Mr Eoin Morgan will oversee the C&D project, as well as managing the Area structure. The new Mail Processing Director Mr Liam O’Sullivan will oversee the activities of the four Mail Centres.

A new Director of Services Mr Brian McCormack, currently Director of Automation, will be responsible for the provision of IT, Legal, Transport and Business Process Reengineering services. He will also oversee the management of the Central Operations activity, formerly a part of Post Office Operations.

The Director of SDS Mr Garret Thornton will continue to report to the Chief Executive as will the existing Directors of Human Resources (Mr Pat Knight), Commercial (Mr Derek Kickham) and Finance (Mr Ciaran McGivern).

Some of the changes arise from the decision of three senior executives Mr Ken Robinson (Director of Collection and Delivery), Mr Tony Waters (Director of Post Office Operations) and Mr McGivern (acting Finance Director) to retire or leave the company over the summer months.
