Treaty of Rome 50th Anniversary Stamp

Designed by Steve Simpson, the stamp shows an image of the EU Flag, while a First Day Cover features the flag against a background image of the 1957 signing of the Treaty at the Palazzo dei Conservatori in Rome.

The stamp, first day cover and special €2 coin (being issued by the Central Bank) are available online at www.irishstamps.ie; from the Philatelic Shop in Dublin’s GPO or by calling (01) 705 7400.
