Heavy Goods Vehicle Drivers (1 Year Fixed Term Contract)

An Post is actively recruiting for part-time and full-time Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Drivers for a 1 year fixed term contract for positions nationwide.

About the Role

The role will involve supporting the An Post HGV Network Fleet as the need arises. The position will require full compliance with standard operating procedures and achievement of work standards to ensure An Post’s Quality of Service Targets are met.

CE Licence starting rate of pay is €17.36 per hour, plus additional payment for irregular hours.

Candidate Specification

Candidates must have a full and clean CE driving licence and up to date CPC Accreditations. Relevant work experience or experience in a customer-focused environment is ideal but not essential. You should be hardworking, committed, with good organisational skills, flexible, efficient and effective in undertaking all assigned tasks.

Candidates must be 18 years of age on or before the 31st October 2024.
