Parcels Product Marketing Executive
Role Purpose
Reporting to the Parcels Product Manager, the Parcels Product Marketing Executive will work with the team to develop market leading products and customer experiences driving the commercial volume agenda for all parcels products with a specific focus on International parcel products and services.
You will work collaboratively with many areas throughout the business working on a diverse product portfolio including but not limited to:
Customs Import & Export
Track & Trace
Returns (Domestic & International)
Click & Post
Parcel service enhancements
You will provide support to the Product Manager in the development of new product requirements, identifying and implementing improvements.
Responsibilities
The primary accountabilities associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:
Working with the team to drive the commercial volume agenda for all Parcel products.
Working with the product team on all product development projects across our full parcels product set. (B2B, SME & B2C).
Managing the preparation of business requirements for new product development.
Proposition Research, plan and manage business cases for each proposition.
Working through complex issues with the team to make the issue easier to understand, supporting the team to draw conclusions and suggest solutions
Coordinating and managing business testing as part of product releases.
Collate monthly/quarterly KPI’s across the parcel portfolio and work collaboratively with the Product Manager to identify trends, performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Contribute to improving customer on-boarding processes
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business (Digital, Operations, GTS, Retail, Customer Services etc.).
Working closely with the marketing communications team on campaign briefs and support in optimising the timelines of outbound communications.
Providing support for ad hoc stakeholder queries.
Developing product training documents and deliver the training when required.
Maintaining clear documentation of business rules as product changes are developed.
Knowledge & Experience
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ product marketing experience. You are driven for continuous improvement and recognise that problems are items that can be solved and overcome. You will be a customer advocate in all that you do. You have the interpersonal skills to build/maintain excellent relationships across multiple business functions, and excellent time management skills and prioritisation ability.
The ability to plan, work and meet tight deadlines in a changing business environment is important as no two days are the same in this role. Experience with analysing data and translating it into a useful information to drive business decisions is a plus.
The challenge for a product team is to take a business need or customer issue, to work with colleagues across the business and translate the technical and operational solutions into something which all parties can understand and buy into.
