Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (Panel Recruitment)

Role Purpose

The Talent Acquisition team are passionate about delivering an exceptional talent management and talent acquisition service for our colleagues in An Post. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, as Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be responsible for executing efficient and effective talent acquisition processes for a variety of high volume roles across the business, such as Contact Centre Specialists, Clerical staff and Postal Operative positions, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience and that the best possible candidates are selected for each panel to meet business needs. You will build a strong and compelling EVP to support recruitment campaigns, to attract diverse and engaged talent.

This role interfaces with managers to align on hiring needs and engages with HR Operations for pre-boarding and on-boarding activities. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders from across An Post, instilling trust and confidence in our services while providing professional guidance on all matters related to talent management and talent acquisition when required.  You will also lead and drive projects, collaborating with your HR colleagues and wider stakeholders as the business continues to evolve on its transformation journey.

Responsibilities

The primary accountabilities associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Partnering with HR Business Partners and hiring managers across the business to develop deep insight into the requirements of their recruitment needs, fully understanding role responsibilities and competencies required.

  • Supporting HRBPs and hiring managers by providing advice when necessary, to develop role profiles that will attract a diverse and talented pool of candidates for a variety of panels.

  • Managing full life cycle recruitment needs which include sourcing, screening, candidate management, interviewing and contract management, ensuring that all candidates and hiring managers have an exceptional experience throughout the process.

  • Managing, coaching and developing a small team of Talent Acquisition Specialists.

  • Collaborating with our Talent Acquisition Admin team members to schedule candidate screening and interviews.

  • Working collaboratively with the Talent Acquisition Team, wider HR Team and organisational stakeholders to develop and evolve our Employer Value Proposition.

  • Collaborating with An Post’s Diversity & Inclusion Team to enable us to continuously deliver an inclusive recruitment and on-boarding strategy.

  • Analysing and reporting recruitment metrics, identifying trends or challenges that enable us to continually improve and evolve our service.

  • Managing and coordinating Talent Acquisition projects, working collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the business.

  • Supporting the on-boarding of our new recruitment system, ensuring a seamless transition to the new software and ways of working.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with industry contacts, vendors and associations, ensuring An Post’s Brand and reputation are always our focus.

  • Keep up to date and maintain a current, comprehensive understanding of workforce and industry trends, changes and innovations.

  • Understand latest high volume talent acquisition best practices and trends to remain competitive in the market and make recommendations on process improvements.

  • Provide support to other areas of Talent Acquisition as required based on business needs.

  • Demonstrating An Post values and behaviours in your day to day work and addressing behaviour that supports/conflicts with them.

Knowledge & Experience

You will have 4+ years’ full lifecycle recruitment experience, ideally managing a range of high volume recruitment processes across a variety of functions. Interviewing experience is critical, and your warm, professional approach instils confidence and builds rapport with both candidates and hiring managers.

You will have a deep understanding of recruitment market trends with the ability to translate this knowledge into successful recruitment strategies and campaigns. You have excellent knowledge and experience using multiple recruitment search platforms, proactively engaging potential candidates and building strong pipelines of future talent. Ideally you will hold a degree in a relevant HR or related discipline, along with CIPD membership.

You have the proven ability to partner across multiple HR functional and business areas and build strong and trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience/involvement delivering Diversity and Inclusion initiatives would be an advantage.

You have excellent time management and prioritisation skills, with the agility to adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and demonstrating exceptional organisational skills.
